Blog 4: Ship, Fire and Pig

Every morning, the bright sun rises. Every night, the same sun sets. But some point in the middle of that happening, around midday, unusual and strange things happened. Lately, Piggy has been calling it Mirage. Well he obviously creates illusions of different objects on this island, that isn't really there.
In sudden moment, gyrating into the beautiful turquoises sky. I first thought it was a ship in the distance, i thought I was turning into Piggy, having those weird mirage moments, but i was delighted as i saw it was still there. I stood there a little bit longer....I was positive it was real.....I think....I needed to go tell the others.
I was so joyful that a ship was actually hear to save us! Well I didn't have much time, so i ran thought the rough tendrils. I was almost there, when I heard a small whimper behind the tall jungle tree. It was a littlun scared to bits. He said he saw the beastie. I couldn't worry about that now, I had to find the others quick. As i took his hand, he followed me step by step.
We finally arrived to the to our little civilization. I didn't see anyone. Oh, i just remembered where Jack and the Hunters were. They were on the mountain watching the fire. I glanced up the mountain. NO SMOKE!!!!!!!
Seriously, why did jack have to kill a pig! why? why? why? I mean he's so not responsible, he cant even watch the fire for a few hours? I was about to give a loud Shrill. He pretty just lost our chance of being rescued by the ship. His obsessions with hunting pigs became more and more irrelevant to our needs. We didn't need meat! His failures make me malevolent towards him. Now everybody implicated that Jack was the leader.
I was just so blown away by Jack's and the Hunters preposterous actions. I heard some ruffling in the bushes to the left of me. I was frightened. The faces were painted with opalescence white clay and had different designs in red and black paint. I then figured out it was Jack and the Hunters. When the entire group came out, lastly, Sam and Eric followed with a dead pig on a split.
I knew everybody was hungry, but we had to have a meeting with Jack. This has gone to far. I told him about the ship, and he was supposed to keep the signal fire going. All he said was we were hungry and wanted meat. He apologized, but totally implying how he was not really sincere, but not incredulous. He knew he had to apologize, so the hunters will still be loyal to him.
I politely picked up Piggy's glasses and started the fire, to roast the pig, even though i was still terribly upset with Jack. In about 20 minutes, their were medium- rare pig sticks ready to devour. We all had some to eat, but i wish we spent that time getting rescued.
