Blog 3: Huts or Pig~!~

I'm sweaty and I can feel it drip down my sunburned and freckly back. As I get closer and closer to the chubby pink pig, I can see a frightened glimmer in his eyes. I accidentally stepped on a twig, as i slowly move backwards. The pig saw me. I jump up nervously and try to dodge the long tendrils and barbs as the touched my bare pale skin, running through the festoons of trees and branches.
The wild winds flow through my dirty long hair and starts to slowly dry my sweaty face. The image of fresh meat, is the only thing keeping me motivated. The pig was afraid, so it turns the corner quickly and disappears, out of sight. Its gone.
The oppressive heat makes me find my self on the way back at the beach, in search for fresh water. I know I'm close to the beach, because i took a glance and saw the inscrutable sight of the ocean.
I saw Ralph from the distance. He gave me a furtive glance. I slowly walk over there to ask him if he has any water. I'm wishing I could flaunt about my victory killing a pig, but that hadn't happened yet.
I told him my story and how before we get rescued, i have to kill a pig. He seemed bewildered by my request. All he wanted to do is build huts. He said that shelter is more important then meat. I didn't think so, because it would be a waist if we built all the huts, but we didn't have any food, so then we would die. If I was chosen to be leader, we could of already had years worth of meat. Instead, Ralph and Simon are building huts, and the little ones are having all the fun they want.
I still cant believe I wasn't chosen to become leader. Well, weather he likes it or not, I'm going to catch and kill a pig. That will make me have all the power. I wonder if we can have another vote? Wait and see.....
